our farm: the guest bedroom

I’m gonna jump around a bit in the interest of getting some photos up. I’ll be finished with the foyer post soon (wanted to do a walk through but those that have full farm access will be able to refer to the 2nd level floorplan.  An interesting tidbit of info is that this room was originally meant to be the “nursery” being that it was directly across (via 2 access doors) from the Master Bedroom, and shares it’s own staircase.  We decided it would make a perfect guest room being it has no closet, and unless your guests are staying for months, they certainly don’t need a closet!

Here is the guest bedroom before the remodel. I am happy to now report that I am the proud owner of the antique you see in the far left corner. Unfortunately, during transit, it was damaged and will need to be repaired slightly (it’s not bad). However, I just recently acquired it and I am THRILLED. These photos were taken over a year ago, prior to us owning the house.
