All access users, refer to the floorplan 🙂

I’ve recently dubbed the “living room” “The Parlor” in honor of the tradition of this home.

The fireplace (at left, below) will eventually have a federal style mantle, yep, we’re going Americana people 🙂 !

New fireplace (this one is gas and is not vented to the outside, we want one vented) and to the right of it will be built in bookshelves made custom by our friend John McGullian, who is an amazingly talented carpenter. Stay tuned though, this project may end up being a year or so away with the studio renovation being top priority.

These pieces are all mine. These pieces follow a war genre entitled “The Journey of Three”. Titles are underneath each piece.

We have our furniture kinda laying around without a solid place to be 🙂 Not sure what to do with it just yet.

All in all, not crazy about the paint color as it blends in with the couch too much. I will be changing at some point in the future, cannot remember the name of the color and I don’t have the buckets anymore.
