the farmhouse grounds, an introduction

Note: Of immediate concern: antique brick walkway and stained river rock.

I’d like to think we at least knew what we were getting into when we purchased this property. I was just having a conversation with one of my clients and we were talking about how owning this house adds another full-time job to the mix. This house is a full time job in itself. Now, tack that on to parenting and careers, and well…we have some pretty full plates here.

We’ve done a bit of chatting about the interior (and I realize I still haven’t posted all of the rooms yet) but currently we need to get a handle on this property maintenance before it just gets completely out of control.

2 acres of property with specimen plantings all over the place. TONS of work to be done + Two DIY Crazy people = tons of blog content.

Here’s a screen capture of a portion of the garden plan. To see the full garden plan (PDF format – you can even zoom in) you will need to become a subscriber. Click HERE to figure out how to gain full access.
