My good old friend Mrs. Limestone has tagged me. For those that haven’t checked out her blog, Renovating A Brooklyn Limestone, it is a must-read. I’ve been addicted to her blog since the very beginning.
This is not the first time I have been tagged, but thankfully the list isn’t as long, I think I can handle it 😉
For those new to “Tagging” – it’s a form of blog networking, which you answer 5 questions and pass the questions along to 6 (I broke the rule) other bloggers. I can’t say all of my answers are interesting but I’ll try my best.
1.) Where were you 10 years ago? Creative Direction, Branding & Web Development. I’m pretty sure I was working on a Pfizer co-branding project in 1998. I was living in my apartment with my husband (who was my boyfriend at the time).
2.) Five items on your to-do list today – Had a very busy administrative day today – hard to narrow it down, but here goes:
- Blogging some portrait sessions
- Finish DVD for Client 1
- Finish DVD for Client 2
- Start to rebuild my MySpace Page, which went belly up for some reason 2 weeks ago.
- Start DVD for Client 3
- Take photos of my husband’s discovery in the downstairs bathroom for the next home renovation post. This will presumably be pushed for tomorrow’s list, which will include a similar list as today’s yet will be delayed as Emma is “Moving Up” from Pre-K to kindergarten tomorrow (GASP – how did that happen? ). The work list will be much shorter tomorrow.
Regarding said discovery – sorry I can’t be more specific than that right now, but I think we have a real find! You’ll just have to wait for it.
3.) Snacks I enjoy – Granola & trail mix are my recent obsessions. Gouda cheese with red seedless grapes (addiction). Flavor BLASTED goldfish (can any parent resist these or anything that states it’s flavor blasted to begin with?) Lastly, those pretzel chips with port wine cheese. Oh – and – jelly rings. It is for this reason that you will very rarely see these items in my home – especially the jelly rings. Those things go down quick.
4.) What would you do if you were a billionaire? I would not stop working (really!). I would take a (some) nice vacation(s), pay someone ELSE to do the renovations on my house. Chill with the kids. Try to help out the TS Alliance – give them a big chunk of change because they really need it. Buy houses in multiple locations a la Jolie-Pitt. Hey, listen – I’m still young, there’s still time for this!
5.) Places I would live: Easy. A few places here in NJ, The Hamptons, SOHO or the West Village, Philly, Maui or Kauai. The final two because my husband and I almost cried when we were leaving we loved it so much. 50 year olds look 30. Unbelievable. Other than that – I would stay East Coast all the way.
For those that wonder why my Cell Phone Shot of the Day appears to have vanished completely and was not on my list in number 5 above…it hasn’t, it’s going to be taken over by a new device. I’m no longer using the LG. Stay tuned!
