time to convert

I know, I know. It’s been said before - clawfoot tubs do not make great showers. But guess what? If my husband is repairing the shower downstairs, I am not going to take a bath every night for a month.

As a result, we need to convert the small clawfoot tub into a working shower. I’ll take functional, I also will take standing - because I really don’t want to use a hand shower, thankyouverymuch.

These were images I took to send to Signature Hardware. Still waiting to hear back on what we should be getting - according to them, it’s just a small hardware change.

I love clawfoot tubs. I’m in the process of refinishing mine for my little coast house. I still like taking a bath in a clawfoot over a jet tub. Besides they are sooo romantic. I’ve for the clawfoot!!!

Thanks Kathleen! I love it too. Honestly, however, I would much rather make use of it by being a shower. I really have no time for baths these days!!

You know I love a clawfoot. They might not be ideal for showers but they can do in a pinch when you’re other bathroom is out of service.
