cell phone shot of the day.

I know, I know. Everyone wants something new, and I have TONS of new stuff – a bathroom reno and a bathroom paint job (yeah, that bathroom). However – work and life these last few weeks has been rather hectic. I’ll tell you, working and having the two children home during the summer – nuts!

There is plenty of blogging to come – but the house renovation post will not come until my husband shaves off about 3/4 of an inch of my bathroom door enough for me to fit a rug I purchased. Anyone that knows us personally (you will now find out if you don’t) is certainly aware that Jimmy is itching for some posting when it comes to this bathroom before/after shots.   What can I say?  He’s proud.  Certainly deserves it too.  Quite a transformation.  We even found some cool(er) stuff in the walls than last time.

A reminder: if don’t have full access to posts…just ask.

I will say is that no project in this house progresses or completes without one soul getting hurt. That “one” is usually always me.    This considered, the cell phone shot of the day today is actually a cell phone shot of the day for July 10, 2008, which, admittedly, is not so much creative as it is significant. I was here at this time. The receptionist is viewing a screen which appears like solitaire.  I assure you this woman was doing her job.  Those “cards” were actual blinking beds showing how many are occupied.  All of them were.

Behold. Riverview Medical Center (Red Bank, NJ) Emergency Room at 12:30 AM on 7/10.

Now, despite how it looks, Riverview was rather busy that night. I didn’t end up getting home until close to 3 AM. I can’t elaborate more than that, unfortunately. If I gave it all away I wouldn’t get that final 3/4 inch off my door. I’ll save it all for the long post that will follow, once my husband completes the final step.
