Last night I traveled to Manhattan. My friend had a birthday celebration over the weekend and I was unable to make it for various reasons, so I headed in on a very uneventful (traffic-wise) Wednesday evening. I had yet to see her (amazing!) apartment, this was a LONNNGGG overdue visit. Thank you, Hope! I had such a great time.
Needless to say, it has been some time since I was in the city. I’m in love with where I live, but nothing will ever substitute New York, even the smell (yes, can you believe that?). The air was perfect in NYC last night, and for that, I am thankful.

A common sidewalk sight, “The Back Door“. The kitchen of any popular NYC restaurant. If you ever want to see some serious energy, stand outside one of these for a few minutes. Just don’t do it in the dead heat of summer. This was the only instance that I shot a very quick moment of calm.

1st Avenue & 90th, East Side.

If you were hanging upside down on the outside of an elevator, this is what you would see

Hallways fascinate me. Behold Hope’s Hallway.
