the ratsey family

It is very flattering when people travel from afar to visit me! Afar being a relative term – as of late I’ve had two visits from other states and I have another flying in this week!!!

I’ve known Susan for many, many years – we actually had the same Reem Acra gown for our wedding (it was apparent we had similar taste right off the bat) and when she was out searching for the perfect veil, I passed mine on to her as (it was a perfect match) without knowing her, and we’ve kept in touch ever since.

This was the first time we met face to face and I had only seen photos of the family (including the canine members) via email. Susan, Jens, “Bean” and the two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Madison & Mika – took a 2.5 hour ride just to come see me. 😉

It was AWESOME to finally meet you and your family. We had such a blast, and coffee and cookies to BOOT!! I’m passing your name on to EVERYONE I know with confirmation that you are truly worth the 2 1/2 hour drive it took to get to you 🙂
You’re so gifted Laura. We adore the pictures and can’t wait to hang them in our home. Good luck with the permits. Some people REALLY need to mind their own (rolling my eyes)
    Kisses!! xxx
