I was so very happy when I received a call from Alex, a groomsman from Karen & Michael’s wedding, telling me he and Carmela wanted me to shoot their wedding.
Tom Tom, our trusty (most times, anyway) GPS got Michelle and I here a bit early, so I took some time to fire off a few shots of the church interior. I’m a true fan of architecture

How can I get a roof like this for my house?

Detail shot from one of the angels on the rafters.

How cool is this church’s ceiling?

Sweet Ride.

Beautiful Bride

The car was hot.

Shoes!!

I love this moment. Here’s the Father of the Bride giving away his daughter.

An amazing & genuine understanding between two very important men to the Bride.

Kissing under the cross.

Everyone remember this couple? NOTE: Baby makes 3!

Natural light

I shot this one while I was walking backwards down the stairs – on the fly, so to speak. I absolutely LOVE the smiles in this image.

Their reception was at Harvest on Hudson.

I love this shot. “Show me your shoes”! I love the authentically vintage feel.

“Romantic Chivilry”

Spontaneous Drama

Expecting sisters.

The Best Man

Trinity

Carmela was just so very classic and beautiful…

I love candle light, that coupled with the natural textures of the room – I was swooning!

I find myself incredibly lucky to who graced herself in this detail shot of the flowers.

Carmela & Alex, thank you so very much for having me shoot the wedding. Can’t wait until next year (stay tuned, Shoot-Scoop visitors, you’ll be seeing more of these two at their second reception in October 2009)!
