your blog doesn’ t like me so much lately! It said I had a dup comment, but it never posted my first one. Anywho! I originally thought it was a Norway Maple, then second guessed myself, but now seeing the images on Flickr……….maybe??? So that “maybe I am right” was really my second thought of the day!

I think you are correct with the crabapple…….the second one, though, maybe a hemlock? DOes it get really cute little tiny pine cones, less than an inch big?
Dawn…I’ll have to go look. I’m actually thinking of planting one of those gold colored hemlocks in the front – you know, the ones that go to 50 feet? This one doesn’t remind me of a hemlock, but I’ll go out and take a closer look on a day it’s NOT raining!
